We’re thrilled to announce that Sans Titres \/ Without Titles<\/em><\/a> by Breaking Circus has been selected from a pan-Canadian call for projects for Dialogues: Encounters with Riopelle\u2019s \u0152uvre from Sea to Sea<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Sans Titres<\/em> celebrates the works of Jean Paul Riopelle while engaging in dialogue around environmental issues within the arts ecosystem of Nova Scotia. The project will feature community-created visual arts, with themes of art and environment painted on 12 x 12 parachutes<\/a>. These parachutes form the backdrop for a contemporary circus arts performance \u2013 aerial arts, acrobatics, and juggling.<\/p>\n

Breaking Circus is honoured to present this project alongside Jean Paul Riopelle Foundation and its partner Culture pour tous. On the eve of the celebrations surrounding the centenary of the Canadian artist Jean Paul Riopelle, we are thus part of a major pan-Canadian cultural mediation project made possible by Jean Paul Riopelle Foundation and the financial support of the Government of Canada.<\/p>\n

\ncadre du programme Dialogues: Rencontres autour de l\u2019\u0152uvre de Riopelle d\u2019un oc\u00e9an \u00e0 l\u2019autre<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Sans Titres<\/em> c\u00e9l\u00e8bre les \u0153uvres de Jean Paul Riopelle tout en engageant un dialogue autour des enjeux environnementaux au sein de l’\u00e9cosyst\u00e8me artistique de la Nouvelle-\u00c9cosse. Le projet mettra en vedette des arts visuels cr\u00e9\u00e9s par la communaut\u00e9, avec des th\u00e8mes d’art et d’environnement peints sur des parachutes 12 x 12<\/a>. Ces parachutes forment la toile de fond d’un spectacle d’arts du cirque contemporains \u2013 arts a\u00e9riens, acrobaties et jonglage.<\/p>\n
